Warehouses on lodge Farm

VOW is aware that Obsidian Strategic, the would-be developer of some 80 acres of Lodge farm, has submitted (9 Oct 23) a new Pre-Application for planning approval.

This new Pre-App follows on from a similar application made in June 2022 which was rejected by Hart Planning.  The new Pre-App attempts to address the issues raised by Hart.

VOW notes that, at this stage in the formal process, “(Hart) Council will not be approving or refusing the proposal, so (public) comments are not invited”.  Accordingly, VOW will not be submitting comments in response to the Pre-App and prefers to await Obsidian’s submission of a Full Application later in the year.

VOW notes that there are clearly many issues outstanding. In the meantime, we are assembling the outlines of what will be a robust response to whatever Obsidian proposes in pursuit of its intrusive and destructive objectives.”
