Public meetings

Villages Against Warehouses (VOW) has been holding a series of public meetings to explain the potential impact of this proposed development. The picture above shows the VOW meeting in Odiham which was packed out. Other meetings with a similar level of interest were held in Hook and most recently Hartley Wintney.

The most recent public meeting was in Hook on Thursday the 28th of March at Elizabeth Hall in Hook. This was another packed event attended by residents and supported by almost all local politicians. They heard about the potential impact of this proposed development of 5 enormous warehouses and 24-hour Distribution Centre on Lodge Farm on those living in Hook and surrounding villages from a huge increase in HGV traffic. A report on that meeting can be seen here.
