Walking routes under threat

The green corridor illustrated on the map shows the only safe traffic-free route for walkers, cyclists and horse riders that connects Hook, North Warnborough and Odiham. The proposed development would destroy the current path between points 2 and 5. Anyone wanting to use the route would also have to negotiate with the thousands of HGV’s driving in and out of the site.

It is vitally important that our communities raise awareness of how important this route is locally and make this loud and clear to Hart District Council, in their consultation on the Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP). The proposed warehouse development at Lodge Farm would destroy the green corridor that connects our communities, so it is more important than ever to show just how much this matters to all of us.
